Hi, I am Jessica

Born and raised in Perú. Moved to Finland in 2017, and focused on learning Swedish and Finnish. After a brief pause, I did my bachelors degree in Information Technology and started my career a Software Developer. Led a Capstone project at university and had the opportunity to intern at Sasken, where I developed my abilities as an IoT engineer. My last internship was at the R&D department in Centria, where I sharpened my skills as an AI engineered, building projects with ROS humble and working on projects related to Computer Vision and Machine Learning. I am currently studying my Master's degree in Applied Computing, leading a student research team focused on LLM chatbots.

Emotion Player

This emotion detector uses a custom dataset and the final result is a hue bar where the final user can see the emotions shown during the duration of the clip. Based on EmotionCLIP.

Security Alarm System

This project is an alarm system designed for the IoT course of the University of Oulu, using MQTT protocol and Hive for https display. A Raspberry Pi Pico HW is required and other components like an LCD screen.
